Beowulf

Inspired by Germanic and Anglo-Saxon oral tradition, this old English poem is considered to be composed between 975 and 1025. Christian narrator is recounting the exploits of Beowulf, the pagan hero who travels great distances to prove his strength at impossible odds against supernatural demons and beasts. Traditional master piece that magnifies human values and moral choices performed by courageous heroes capable of suffering intensely for their deeds.
